Either by yourself or with the entire family this is the best vacation spot for summer!
A dream of mine finally came true and that was visiting the wizarding world of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida. Walking through the brick wall and seeing Gringotts looming at the top of Diagon alley was pure magic! Notice the mighty dragon perched right on top of the building? He blows fire balls!!!

I am overcome with magic!
When you first arrive in Diagon alley you will walk through two main brick walls with the sound of Harry Potter music playing all around you. (Make sure to watch my video below before you leave my blog!)
Although the streets may be crowded – depending on the time and day you come – there is so much to see and enough room to get a glimpse at all the wonders of the wizarding world.
Take your time at every shop as there is magic within the window displays. If you head to Ollivanders you can purchase a wand that will interact with certain shop displays so you can perform your own magic! Make sure to look for the gold symbols on the ground. These will tell you where you can do magic and which spells to cast. I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Hogwarts student to get my own unique wand. Don’t worry if you’re not chosen you can still purchase a wand. If you are a collector you can buy any characters wand from the Harry Potter books.

After a time you may find yourself getting hungry. There are many sweets to be chosen but the best place to eat, in my opinion, while visiting Diagonally is The Leaky Cauldron. Here you can purchase Shepherds Pie, Fish & Chips, and Butter Beer amongst other things.
Another fun fact is that you can change your money into Gringotts money over at the Gringotts Bank. You can then spend the Gringotts money on your purchases in either Diagon alley or Hogsmeade or take it home as a souvenir.
When you have had your magical fill of Diagon alley you can transverse over to Hogsmeade where the Hogwarts Castle is. To do this I recommend buying a park to park ticket and traveling on the Hogwarts Express!

I had so much fun visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios that I am returning in the fall.
I will write a future post all about Hogsmeade as that in and of itself was a separate journey.
What I wore.
To close, my fashion for the park needed to maintain my love for glamour but be comfortable throughout the day. To do this I opted for my vintage styled Vans, a pair of checkered high waisted shorts and a cute strappy pink top with built in shapewear. I decided on an updo with a set of hot pink hair flowers to top it all off. When dressing for a day of fun keep it chic and simple and as I always say
